“Wear a mask if you’re around anyone whose vulnerable.”

Of course, you can’t tell who is vulnerable so…wear a mask.

And you know why the vulnerable don’t mask? Bc no one else masks. And it can be hard to do it alone.

So be a trendsetter. Normalize masks.
Really need to stop with the “Should we be concerned?” and only the immunocompromised, vulnerable, & elderly are at risk re: COVID. We are all at risk & vulnerable! Be concerned! And please wear a well-fitting respirator & protect yourself & others.

Trump: Gutting National Parks—And Hiding the Evidence

National parks hit 331M visits, but Trump officials don’t want you to know. A leaked memo bans the Park Service from promoting the numbers—while firing rangers, closing visitor centers, and cutting safety.

This won’t go well—we love our parks.

Explanation post: Those who followed me on X know I posted about medical access - including vaccines - the need for masks and the need for dogs. I never posted about politics.

Now I’m getting political. I can hope we all are. There’s so much at stake in Canada.

This is the tip a huge iceberg:

one of the reasons bluesky works differently is because early users waged a successful fight to get the devs to prioritize safety features to protect communities at risk

as a result bluesky now has a suite of controls that i think are unmatched on social media
