Gonna pin the most recent of my #HalloweenTombsones here for the year because it’s at lot easier to scroll thru them from the bottom up!

I’m already collecting more for 2026.
“At stake is whether health systems have been knowingly deploying substandard protective equipment in environments where exposure to lethal airborne disease is foreseeable, continuous and unavoidable.

Under international labour law, this question is already answered.”

WE HAVE A NEW VERSION OF THE HIGHLY CRITICIZED HEP B VACCINE TRIAL PROTOCOL IN GUINEA-BISSAU.

Here’s what’s different…

Spoiler: It’s not much better.

Update: A newly revised protocol of the CDC-funded Hepatitis B vaccine trial in Guinea-Bissau. "This is still bad."
A January 14 document fails to address major ethical issues identified in the version published here yesterday. "The University of Southern Denmark is complicit in this unethical research conduct."

Kids were young. Went to the parent-teacher meeting. Teacher asked, "Do you really talk particle physics, debate religious issues, and review Muppet movies with your kids over dinner?"

"Um, yes. Doesn't everyone?"

Take it from Canada: Trump goes from joking to policy in a heartbeat.

He's not kidding, America. He WILL prevent you from having midterm elections if he possibly can. His "joke" is just to start getting you used to the idea.

PHAC wastewater data shows that covid is high in Ontario right now. Yet public health almost entirely silent on the levels of covid, the risks it poses, and how to protect yourself and your community.

High levels are a public health failure and a significant risk for our future.

No, Democrats aren’t “just as bad” or “even worse” than Trump, MAGA and the GOP.

No, the United States WASN’T “always this bad.”

Some folks really do have to work on their understanding of the concept of “order of magnitude.”

Not understanding it rewards/protects worse and more illegal behaviour.

Ummm…who writes Consumer Reports?

Why by golly it’s independent experts.

Blaming vaccines is easier because it feels like it’s something controllable. Covid is airborne and this is a much more concerning reality. There is no need to panic, we have the science to prevent. Problems can only be fixed however, when we are able to talk about them.

#TalkAboutCovid
What we are seeing now is just the tip of the iceberg. The focus on blaming the vaccines instead of the virus will only continue to make things worse. Condemning a whole generation that has not even born yet.

You know what the weirdest thing is?

They think they are leaving us behind…

Maybe it feels like they are leaving us behind too…

But actually we are desperately throwing out life savers and trying to pull them onto the life boat, but they are pulling us into the water instead.

Star Trek Starfleet Academy is damn good. It's new & a bit different.
It's about learning. About working with others. It's about respecting differences. Acceptance. Inclusion. Sharing. Real leadership. Adaptation. Tolerance. Humour. Being open to new things. Happiness
But then it is Star Trek.

Please note that, if this is your evidence that the baby isn’t breathing, it’s not accurate. To be able to breathe oxygen this way the patient has to be able to breathe independently.

It may be the baby stopped breathing at some point, but this is not a picture of a baby not breathing.
