Techbros seem to love Tolkien, so here's an analogy to help you understand what genAI is.

GenAI is The One Ring. You think your use is justified, b/c you don't have evil in your heart.

But it came from evil, it is intended for evil purpose, & anything you do with it will be twisted to that end.

In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes.

The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.

The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.

Why?

It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.

Breaking news, local pharmacist gets yelled at because patient's doctor accidentally sent a script to two stores and patient is at the wrong store.

A1: I know this doesn't count, but the Costco and Sam's free samples are definitely small bites.

Also, every other commercial wonton that isn't Wenzhou style (aka huge)

I work at a pharmacy with centralized filling, apparently the robots filled a #90 count rx with only #56 and it got dispensed out. Either the robots need to be recalibrated, or there needs to be a human running exceptions
the funnel machines are nice if you’re counting more than 100 but if you pour too fast you get an error so I personally mostly just use it for like “count 270 gabapentin out of this 500-ct bottle”

Used my last spoons of the day to rack off half a gallon of mead (technically, braggot).

Told my coworker I have too much drink at home and he offered to help me drink some. Bringing it to work in an empty Pringles can though, since I don't want anyone getting in trouble
