@kimyadawson.bsky.social I keep seeing people asking for their anti-authoritarian playlists and its rage against the machine this Black Flag that.... but its never Kimya Dawson, the Mountain goats or Bright eyes... and It always you for me. Loose Lips is my catharsis.

When the people chose not to vote for Kamala that was an acceptance that Trump would win. Which I couldnt accept but fine accept it the only next responsible step would be to them actively prepare for the outcome they were choosing. Shut up about Kamala and talk about surviving a trump presidency

@petebuttigieg.bsky.social People are very happy with you reaching across the aisle. I am less so. Conservatives masterfully choose other peoples suffering and then turn to the left in solidarity when that means they suffer. Why be nice when in 4 years they are going to vote for the same policies?

I am not built for work. I would rather never hear from a job I don't get than have them actually reject me. I hate interviews because I am supposed to have a reason other than I need money to want to work in customer service. If DoorDash paid better I wouldn't even think of doing this to myself.

Is everyone just doing fine? Like I didn't do great in my last class but the impression I get from the institution is that overall its business as usual. I'm really struggling but I cant help but feel that is what I should be doing right now.....

@themountaingoats.bsky.social I'm sure that I am not the only person who soothes my public crying by listening to your music. Its not intentional but it seems to be the thing that happens.

@johngreensbluesky.bsky.social I really enjoyed the Anthropocene Reviewed. My dad Is from Indianapolis but his family kept a light Kentucky/Appalachian accent while his childhood BFF has a more midwestern accent which I think demonstrates Indianapolis is interesting and also w/out identity.

We expected 2,000 people out in GOP-held Greeley, Colorado.

11,000 people showed up.

Something special is happening, folks. Now is the time to organize in every dimension possible and get to work.

One of the best politics things is when a senator or whatever does something unambiguously evil and then is like “I unfortunately cannot go among my constituents because they hate me too much. It’s their fault, they are mean”

Like I'm not an expert in much but I know how broke bitches act.

If you look at Zuck, Bezos, Thiel they're craven yes but they aren't desperate for anything but to be worshipped.

I'm telling you Elon is broke. He was over leveraged even before Tesla stock was tanking. SpaceX isn't profitable. He overpaid for Twitter. Everything is tied up in his ability to sell Tesla stock. That man is desperate.

Dictators thrive on loneliness. Fascism requires lonely people to think they need great leaders instead of community power. This is why people who produce positive social activities are necessary for liberation. Thank you to all the party planners!

Listening to Between The World and me by Ta-Nehisi Coates and he just described the use of the photo of the Black boy hugging a police officer and the full context of that photos is even more heart breaking in the context of the content.

I'm watching the Fox Hollow Farms documentary on Hulu and why is that generation of people from Indiana so frequently involved in true crime? Jim Jones, Sylvia Likens, Herb Baumeister.... like as someone who was raised by someone who grew up in Indianapolis in that era... There is something there.
