My neighbor, an older woman originally from Georgia, told me about her Thanksgiving preparations. She mentioned making collard greens and homemade sweet potato pie. I’ve never tried either one, but hearing her talk about them filled me with warmth and nostalgia. 🥬🍠🥧💖
