From a Peruvian journalist: “Maybe Trump is what the U.S. deserves, the world police represented by a Texan sheriff who spits on the sidewalk and farts right after”. This is what we’ve become to the rest of the world.

If you got $1 million, you can pretty much commit any crime you want and Trump will pardon you. I would recommend Pam Bondi’s brother for representation. He seems to get the best results, for some reason.

The only reason this might get a bigger reaction is because the “self defense” line is even more ridiculous in this case. Female or male you are still the “enemy” to a fascist. In fact, being a leftist male might be worse in their eyes.

Also, ICE won't give up. Trump and Miller won't give up. Fascists don't give up. They must be removed from power.

We don't remove them from power by playing into their hand and helping them consolidate power. I know that isn't satisfying for our anger and outrage. But it's true.

They will be violent. The State is violent. They are assaulting and murdering people now, but if we play into their hand, the future will be one where they can abduct, rape, and kill any of us, and they will do so freely while we live in unfreedom.
Yes. Absolutely. I legit agree.

But my mind cannot stop asking how many more children are going to be kidnapped, how many more detainees are going to be raped and beaten, and how many more people are going to be murdered before ICE finally gives up?

If you don't understand what's happening right now, and how this violence is a sign that the regime is crumbling, ask any woman who left a narcissistic abuser to explain it to you. We know what's happening.

We've lived it and gotten free.

We keep our heads in the game and we will get free, too.

I've been studying the history of US, and indeed, global policing my whole career and I can't make it more clear to law makers that this isn't a bastardization of policing, it is its purest form and logical conclusion. The impunity, militarization, deference, legitimacy, racial targeting, etc.

Again, America watches the horrific killing of a citizen by ICE agents—and the Trump White House trying to exploit it with lies and demagoguery. Read my reporting on the method behind their madness 👉

Tim Cook and Andy Jassy—and the rest—are accommodating an authoritarian who is presiding over a secret police force killing American citizens. The blood of Renee Good and Alex Pretti is on the hands of those who enable Trump. Hope they like the movie.
On tonight’s White House agenda:

Trump and guests will get a private screening of MELANIA, the documentary about the First Lady, @thr.com reports.

Attendees include Apple CEO Tim Cook, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy, Mike Tyson, per the article.

Imagine having to defend your fatally shot son from Stephen Miller's slurs that he was a "domestic terrorist" trying to "assassinate" ICE officers. This is what Trump and Trumpism has brought to the United States.
Kare 11 local news just read, in full, this statement from Michael and Susan Pretti, the parents of Alex Pretti.

"Please get the truth out about our son."

Pam Bondi just sent a letter to Minnesota officials saying ICE will leave if the state turns over its voter database to Trump.

Guess what? This has never been about safety or immigration. It’s a pretext for Trump to take over elections in swing states.

Down the road? They're already saying it didn't happen. The murder of Renee Good, the murder of Alex Pretti. And, of course, the January 6 riot. And it's not just "some bastard"; it's the people controlling the executive branch of the US government and their GOP comrades in Congress.
“Get it all on record now — get the films — get the witnesses — because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened.”

Trump and Miller live for escalation. The violence, the chaos--they see it as the path to even greater power.
Presidents have broad, virtually unreviewable discretion to invoke the Insurrection Act but there has to be a threshold that says you can’t invade a peaceful city w/fedl law enforcement, kill 2 citizens & claim resulting protests merit sending in troops www.reuters.com/world/us/pen...
Pentagon readies 1,500 troops for potential Minnesota deployment, US officials say

A typical police state tactic. This is what comes from Trump's "enemy within" rhetoric. And that enemy, per Trump, includes Democrats, liberals, the media who are all in league with "lunatic radicals, communists, and antifa.
Putin pioneered this. No opposition is legitimate. Regular, decent, “ordinary” people cannot possibly be against us because only we represent “the real people.”

Tell-tale sign of authoritarianism.

Well, we know that Bovino, Stephen Miller, Trump and the rest of this sick crew are not going to tell the truth. This is a war for them. A war against American citizens. And they will lie—and kill—to triumph.
BASH: It feels as though you're blaming the victim here

BOVINO: The victims are the Border Patrol agents. I'm not blaming the Border Patrol agents. The victims are the Border Patrol agents.

Beyond helping establish DHS itself in 2003, Mr. Mitnick was a senate-confirmed Trump choice for General Counsel for DHS in his first term. I've talked with him a few times, and he's not a man for hyperbole. So bear that in mind when you see him calling out DHS's "lawlessness, fascism, and cruelty."

Are they losing Bartiromo? A heinous crime has been committed, and all Kash Patel can say is that he trusts the agents. Did he bother to look at the video? Under what guidance, can a federal agent summarily execute an American citizen who's being restrained?
BARTIROMO: But how was he threatening Border Patrol? How was he using a gun to threaten? He was filming it

KASH PATEL: That's something I'll let DHS because they are investigating that case

(Notable that even Bartiromo seems to be bothered by this!)
