This morning on my final errand I saw broken branches & some watery intersection dips but the largest hazard I encountered was others driving while their wipers smeared drips. Drive safe, unflinching and steady, I don't mind the weather but unprepared drivers make me all sweaty. Merry Christmas!
A dangerous storm is impacting much of Southern California this holiday. Emergency personnel are deploying statewide. I pray that all residents follow their guidance and remain safe.

With atmospheric rivers, intense rainfall, and strong winds ahead, I’m declaring a state of emergency in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Shasta counties to activate emergency authorities and preposition resources to keep our communities safe.

The Abundance movement often points to environmental groups as the obstacles to building. But who actually files the lawsuits blocking projects? It’s not environmental groups. It’s been lawyered-up HOAs protecting property values all along. Regulation by litigation is the problem.
