It’s amazing to me that politicians don’t commit to post first on @bsky.app and to engage with constituents here

THIS is more powerful than CNN , MSNBC, The Post will ever be.

You can broadcast for 9 mins on a declining medium, or engage here and start a real discussion.

Which is more powerful?

South Korean lawmakers have already moved to impeach Yoon Suk Yeol after his martial law fiasco.

That’s what courage in the legislative branch looks like.

Too bad we have none of that here.

I hear some folks saying, "There's hate on both sides," and I can't disagree.
One side hates black people, brown people, Asian people, gay people, and any people who don't fully subscribe to their own rigid ideologies or people who don't look like them.
The other side hates bigots.

As a liberal I am 100% intolerant. I choose not to tolerate dismantling individual rights, civil liberties, our democracy, and free enterprise. I choose not to tolerate your intolerance.

“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record.

They run them bc people react to them the most.

If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.

It’s not easy and takes constant practice!

Religious persecution is when you are prevented from exercising your beliefs, NOT when you are prevented from imposing your beliefs.

I assume it’s hard to separate church & state when you can’t separate fact from fiction.

Can I give you a piece of advice?

There is no perfect "liberal" who agrees with you, 100%.

If we'd like to have 𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒔𝒐𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 of defeating modern fascism, these purity tests need to die.

This is an emergency, and we don't have the luxury of left-wing purity sniping.
