FYI I'm deleting the previous post because while the linked article does a pretty good job of laying out some facts, it's written by an ex-Russia Today employee.

GPS data puts him within 40 feet of the fire at the time it started, he called 911 30 seconds after the fire started, while calling 911 he asked ChatGPT if you're at fault if your cigarettes start a fire, and a witness says he lied about where he was when he saw the fire. Seems like probable cause.

It's a pretty big deal that the NYC Bar Association--one of the most prominent and respected bar associations in the country--is accusing the President of ordering the "unlawful summary execution," i.e. murder--of civilians in violation of US and international law. www.nycbar.org/press-releas...

My ability to appreciate a clever, elegant proof far outstripped my ability to create one. It was humbling, and good for me (though difficult at the time) to see other students who were so far beyond my ability that they seemed almost alien.

The latest news from Denmark...

The imaginary Danish drones, very much in keeping with imaginary drones are proving bloody inconvenient to prove.

The question is how many millions of €s will be spaffed before the authorities realise they're imaginary?

When CBP flew MQ-9 Reaper drones over Los Angeles, they turned off ADS-B. bsky.app/profile/lemo...

Hexagons aren't always MQ-9s, but in this case, yes, there are two MQ-9 Reapers over LA today. Just ridiculous.

Local and federal law enforcement, including DHS/CBP, often fly with "transponders off". Actually they've only turned off ADS-B–their transponders are on and in Mode C, which is not visible on most flight trackers but can be seen by ATC. Here's a helicopter with ADS-B off that night.

I did OK as a math major in a school with a very good math department. I got a perfect score on the math GRE and started a Ph.D at University of Chicago, but I saw right away I wasn't cut out for it while I also saw genius colleagues soar. And that's why I switched to AI.

Maybe not "Europe", which is now experiencing a drone panic over unsubstantiated reports that's bigger than the reaction they had to actual Russian drone wreckage found in Poland and Lithuania. But there are people who, for various reasons, stoke that fear and panic.

Mystiske droner over Danmark: Efterforskningen har afkræftet flere droneobservationer
Ifølge DR's oplysninger er der fortsat ikke håndfaste beviser om ulovlige droner over Danmark. Til gengæld har man afkræftet observationer allerede.

found one of them secret russian drone motherships
lemonodor.bsky.social
I agree. But, for example, the Danish government didn’t ban all domestic drone flights or activate troops after Russian drones were actually downed in Poland and Lithuania. They did that after the drone panic started over misidentified aircraft.
lemonodor.bsky.social
As far as I know there hasn't been any evidence presented beyond photos, videos, and eyewitness accounts. And many of those (the ones with enough detail to check) have been shown to be regular aircraft, a star, and a balloon. This may sound familiar if you followed the New Jersey drone flap.

I want the west to understand what Russia is engaged in and come up with a good response. I don’t want them to respond to something that’s not actually happening. The stakes are high, and the bar for justification and evidence should be too. 3/
