“Horses are more likely to startle around nervous people” is a feedback loop, considering people are more likely to be nervous around a large animal that may freak out upon seeing a plastic bag.

Most all of these are fairly standard hotel policies honestly and likely are being handed out as “reminders” because they intend to enforce them. The one I question the most is the first one and applying a $250 fee for a “noise disturbance” and immediate eviction for a complaint.
This seems like a really long way to say "we really don't want you here anymore but we'll begrudgingly take your money until we successfully annoy you enough to GTFO."

Have any other hotels ever given a contract like this to con attendees?

Flip it back and you’ll find a tiny badger frantically running between control panels.

Whatever your politics are, please understand:

If things continue in this direction, there is going to come a time when you have to take a side between fascism and revolutionary change. There will be no third option.

Standing aside, waiting, doing nothing—all of those will mean choosing fascism.

After ICE agents shot people in Minneapolis tonight, a crowd faced them down and eventually chased them away, despite federal mercenaries and police shooting a tremendous amount of tear gas.

ICE agents abandoned vehicles in the area, containing IDs, paperwork, license plates, and operational plans.

Demonstrators apparently retrieved from the cars belonging to ICE these "challenge coins" that ICE mercenaries receive when they carry out arrests.

This one is decorated with a skull wearing a crown.

ICE mercenaries serve king death. They are evil incarnate.

Having seen several abductions up close, it is really hard to convey how much the thing they’re doing is roaming in military convoys until they see someone who is alone and isn’t white, and then jumping out in large numbers, pulling them into a van, and screeching off, all in 90 seconds or so.
"“They specifically asked me if I knew where the Hmong families lived on my street & in the neighborhood.” Lugert-Thom responded, “I don’t know anything about that” & she said they then asked, “Well, what about the Asian families?”"

"“I was a bit shaken & a bit shocked of what I was asked to do.”"
A St. Paul resident says federal officers knocked on her door and asked her to identify Hmong and Asian households in her North End neighborhood last week.
