3. A particular detail on the 1932 German elections is that the Nazis won…via ranked choice vote. AKA the thing modern progressives champion as more democratic method of voting, aka a sober reminder that there is no such thing as a Perfect Shield against authoritarianism.

2. The irony isn’t lost on me that online leftists who claim to care for and respect the lessons of history more than the far-right…not consider the lessons of history in circumstances that go against their goals.

Which incidentally:

1. This is why many left-leaning Jews (aka the ones who absolutely hate Netanyahu and what he’s doing in Gaza) got really pissed off at the online left when they claimed they totally-didn’t have an antisemitism problem and not doing enough to self-police.

Well I certainly wasn't expecting people getting so sick of high-fidelity, photorealistic graphics that now people are begging for older low-poly stuff.

I think we're just taking our laughs when we can get them. Like soldiers in the trenches, except we're the poor in late-stage capitalism.

In general I’d trust Luthor more to be president, lol

Well no, I do think the "but the Price of Eggs!" things was real, aka people were mad that prices didn't immediately return to pre-COVID rates, it's just that it's one of those things that sounds ridiculous that people didn't believe it, that it had to have been bigotry.

WTF why is this post blowing up of all things.

(And for the record: mergers are bad. They've always been bad. I'd have preferred if there was none at all.)

I feel like with the direction of the franchise via Romulus and Earth, the Prometheus 2 ship has long since sailed.

It’s not the best solution at all, but given Google/YT has been making noises about blocking ad-blockers, I ended up caving to just get YT Premium to get rid of ads and just not deal with them.

“Chairman Hampton”? Well that’s interesting that you invoke a title for a guy that’s not around anymore. All while denying my claim around online white leftists being stuck in the mental framing of conservative Christianity, which prioritizes deferring to authoritative figures? Fascinating.

Nvm that if we take argument at face value, there’s nuance on when ambiguous endings are executed well or not.

I’m not sure why Fred Hampton is relevant to my posts over online white leftists. Considering that 1.) he’s not white and 2.) the internet wasn’t even a thing while he was alive.
