The MPs standing up to Starmer’s welfare bill aren’t “rebels”. They’re just proper Labour MPs.
They’re not protesting they’re acting in accordance with Labour values.
It’s a disastrous cruel bodge job and they should bin it. Not because of polling, but basic morality.

I don’t want Khamenei to have access to a nuclear weapon. But then I also don’t want Putin, Netanyahu, or Xi Jingping to have access to a nuclear weapon. And I definitely don’t want Kim Jong Un or Trump to have access to a nuclear weapon. The only person I’d trust with one is David Attenborough.
