Linde’s electricity use in 2024 exceeded that of Alphabet Inc.’s Google and Samsung Electronics Co. as well as oil giant TotalEnergies SE, while the power use of Air Liquide and Air Products was comparable to that of Shell PLC. and Microsoft Corp.

@chrismoise.ca,

Rather than disabling quote posts, consider why you were ratioed and reflect on the underlying issue.

Acknowledging the mistake and exploring actual, equitable solutions like protected bike infrastructure would address the root cause of this sidewalk symptom.

The best way for my councillor @chrismoise.ca to discourage folks riding a bike or scooter from doing so on our sidewalks is to do more to install an expansive and well-connected bike network throughout our ward and beyond.

These decals, like blocking replies and quote posts, are not a good look.

BREAKING: Judge Carolyn Walker-Diallo has ruled that modification of the Bedford Avenue Bike Lane is "not a major transportation project" and has cleared the way for the removal of three blocks of protected bike lane.

"...doesn’t understand how cities (or geometry) work."
FACT: The more people choosing to walk, bike & take public transit to get around cities, the better cities work for EVERYONE, including DRIVERS.

Anyone claiming that less car dependency is a “war on cars” doesn’t understand how cities (or geometry) work.

It’s time we tell #TheTruthAboutTraffic.

We are now edging on two hours late. I have no idea how we will ever convince Oregonians, anyone in the U.S. to get out of their cars if this is what mass transit is like.
2nd time taking #Amtrak Portland-Salem and back to cover #orleg. Again trip delayed by an hour+ due to mechanical issues. Friend just took 30 mph train Seattle-Portland bc of mechanical issues. We are in dark ages while rest of world blows past us on mass transit.

Lexington Ky needs to have a cargo bike rental facility.
Rentals should really come with a serious parental hazard alert! WARNING: Your child will become an avid cargo bike advocate and will drive you crazy until you get a cargo bike
We’ll be here support you at pick up to make sure you get acquainted with the bike before you roll away.

Warning: so far every child that’s been on one of our bikes has had rave reviews.

We’ll need to get you the @bunchbike.com sometime soon!

My story and feelings are very similar to this author. More people should have the option of (and ability to afford) a walkable neighborhood, and it's why I got into my work with @moreneighbors.org
My new column at Governing is on my family's choice to take the convenience of an urban neighborhood over a larger home and yard.

Not everyone wants to raise kids in this environment, but more families should be able to make this choice if they want to: www.governing.com/urban/high-d...
