I finally got around to watching the remaining 5 episodes of the One Piece live-action series I hadn't watched yet. I'm so torn because on one hand it still manages to preserve the One Piece charm but on the other hand it is so cringe.

While I'm troubled by the ICE escalation, LAPD shot into crowds of student protesters at UCLA last year under Biden, and tear gassed protesters plenty during BLM. The idea that this is a dramatic change to the regular use of force against protesters in Los Angeles is a stretch
I know for a fact that citizens would not be getting tear gassed by ICE and DHS in Los Angeles in June 2025 if we elected the other viable candidate for president.
