One aspect of Phaedre I've neglected as I refine her design is the fact that she's also in a secret cult of assassins.
They believe that revenge distracts from grief and has no value— so they take revenge on others' behalf in order to keep the majority free from a cycle of tragedy.

For Kath I think they're actually one in the same. If she makes a promise or oath, her goal becomes to fulfill that promise.
If somehow two oaths come into conflict, she has an internal hierarchy to decide which she works to serve. The thing about oaths though, is that they go both ways.

I think it's probably unsurprising that Kath would be extremely responsible. Being given a task and having someone relying on her to fulfill an expectation is a space where she thrives.
She takes a request like "please take care of my home and these living creatures I love" very seriously.

But she is one of the guards that any prospective heisters will need to deal with, and she won't be in a good mood should she catch them.
