Working in tech but more likely to post about football or music. I wash bibs and pick up cones for Shelbourne FC's women's team. Kevin Godley once described me as a "visionary boffin".
I heard a story that legendary Irish players, Tommy Caffrey and Jim Langan, beat Marty and his partner one time in a game of doubles. Reisman was a legendary hustler but the Irish pair got under his skin, talking loudly about how he couldn't handle Tommy's serve. Tommy is still playing in his 80s.

On Christmas Eve 1968, in Lunar orbit, the Apollo 8 crew took this photo: “Earthrise."

I'll never forget how inspiring the Apollo missions were to my brother and me as kids. They showed us what our country and humanity can accomplish when we work together toward a common goal.

A very disturbing account by one of Epstein's victims:

"The men were a part of an organisation that would take naked photos of young girls and used [REDACTED] photo where she flew to Ireland for politicians and notable men"

Judicial Review withdrawn for Metrolink!

If the State is, as reported, buying the homes as an offer to end the Judicial Review then said homes should be used to add onto our public housing stock and be converted into public housing to help alleviate our ever increasing homeless numbers.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL
This night 26 years ago was the lowest point in my adult life. After six months in Sweden I had no job, no prospects and about three euro in my pocket. I didn't want to be here any more.
In truth, I didn't want to be anywhere any more.
I was a total failure.

What works against fiber-optic FPVs.

Ukrainian soldiers rely on a Safari shotgun plus a Ptashka net launcher.
If buckshot fails, a 4×4 m net fired up to 30 m catches the drone.

It’s that time of year again… and I’m sharing a photo of me from 1993. That’s how seriously I’m taking this.

Going live on Instagram, at 3pm on Christmas Day, to take piano requests. Unplanned, unprepared.

All in aid of the wonderful work of AsIAm.

“He raped me.”

“Donald J Trump had raped her along with Jeffrey Epstein.”

“She was found with her head ‘blown off’… there was no way it was a suicide.”

Now we’re starting to see why Trump was hiding the Epstein files, and it probably gets much worse.

Patrick O’Donovan went out on the national airwaves with a half-baked, bad set of ideas about linking access to online spaces to our PPS numbers.

If he had these ideas himself, it would be a Christmas miracle.

But in fact, they are the Zuckerberg lobbying aim across the world.

O'Callaghan and Fianna Fáil are aligning themselves with the absolute worst people and politics in Europe, and journalists need to start asking them about it.
To date, I have seen little evidence that Irish media is prepared to meet this moment, and I fear the worst.
