The measure extends the interim order for an additional two years. It passed by a vote of 22 in favor and 10 against. I'm going to do my best to alt text this because holy crap, everyone should know.
It's a map focused on Central America, much of the US at top, part of Brazil at bottom. The murder strikes are marked in red. There's a cluster by Venezuela, and a line of three headed up to Haiti and DR. There's one to the North of Panama in the center of the Caribbean. Here's where it gets even more shocking: there's a line of 14 strikes in the Pacific stretching across the coastlines of Mexico, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. Nowhere near Venezuela or the US.

Just now, a national trans healthcare felony ban for youth has passed the US House, with 10 year prison terms.

3 Dems crossed party lines to vote to jail providers.

4 GOP crossed party lines to vote against.

It is not expected to pass the Senate, where Dems hold filibuster power.

Plans for a third film were shelved and the series was rebooted with Tom Holland in the lead role. Garfield has no regrets. “I worked harder than I’ve ever worked on anything and I’m really proud of it,” he says, “but I didn’t feel represented. There was an interview I gave where I said, ‘Why can’t Peter explore his bisexuality in his next film? Why can’t [his girlfriend] MJ be a guy?’ I was then put under a lot of pressure to retract that and apologise for saying something that is a legitimate thing to think and feel. So I said, ‘OK, so you want me to make sure that we get the bigots and the homophobes to buy their tickets?’”
