I can do all of my work properly but if I don't sit on hold for 90 minutes each day, management thinks I'm just sticking my thumb up my ass for 9 hours a day

lrp, we also feel like, especially at this time, you rly should hold onto those critters n queers around you as pack and try to be there when others need, as you would hope for others to be there when you need! put out towards others what you hope to get back, and don't hold yourself away

yeah definitely very important to have redundancies in Social infrastructure & yeah some of that stuff so I tend to go on so much about Basisvr so folks have some options that aren't dependent on a single company surviving

A little post on the project im working on rn

Over Engineered bottle opener, the over-engineered part is that its made out of carbon fiber.
First test came out like shit, it was because of lacking compression, not enough fiber loading and no way for the epoxy to escape. Next mold iteration pending

it was radicalizing to realize when i was young that i did not want kids and how utterly, violently american society wanted to force them on me

while simultaneously knowing that my friends who did want kids were similarly, violently denied from having them or raising them in a good environment

the entire discipline of software development is being able to translate between human language requirements and computer language directions! all you've done is moved the human language requirements to the machine, which is useless at understanding human language requirements!

"vibe coding" really is the worst development in software of all time. "woah what if you could just tell the computer what to do and then it did that" that's called writing code. code is the language that tells the computer what to do.

Im not anti ai or pro ai.

AI is flawed, like popular belief it does not replace a human. The cracks have already become visible in software engineering, as ai cannot hold up to large codebases or is reliable enough. And people who call themselves "vibe-coders", which is those who use ai to code.

Done a 60% size benchy on printer, not bad for the "balanced" setting. Alot of stringing on the over hang and bad surface quality. But im impressed for the balanced mode, im going to try "high" quality next or make my own setting. Not a very good printer but it does the job.
