Final call to present at SNAP’s annual meeting!

We are taking proposals until Friday, June 27 for posters on the theme of “Records of Resistance,” in light of recent attempts to dismantle this country’s institutions of information.

BREAKING: The Trump administration is working on a plan to permanently relocate up to 1 million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Libya, five people with knowledge of the effort told NBC News.

Details are murky and no final agreement has been reached, but the plan is under serious enough consideration that the administration has discussed it with Libyan leadership.

I had no idea what I was actually looking for, but I headed down to the archive to see what I could find.

Raleigh, see you downtown at 11!
250 years ago today America began its march toward independence at the Battles of Lexington and Concord. The battles marked “No Kings Day, Part I.” Today millions of Americans will take part in “No Kings Day, Part II.”

hi, cis folks!

the comment period for the proposed rule to remove trans care from the ACA as an essential health benefit is open til april 11. it'd strip care from DACA recipients, too.

context & guidance in the thread. do it while you’re still fired up from/about protests.

only 4.5 days left!
hi, cis folks!

if we *are* going to talk ACA, RFK's HHS proposed a rule to remove *all trans care* from ACA essential health benefit status.

~25mil people are insured by ACA & if 1% are trans, that's 250,000 people who'd lose access to care.

that's bad! take 2 minutes to stand with trans people.🧵

The best chance we have is to make sure people know that Trump is the one hurting them - poisoning their water, cutting cancer research, closing their hospitals, stealing their social security, closing their post office, raising their taxes, lowering their wages, making everything more expensive.

President Trump's executive order to eliminate the Institute of Museum & Library Services would have disastrous effects for communities nationwide. We call on all Americans who value reading & learning to reach out to their elected leaders.

Lemme just repeat that: 2025 has already seen about 60% of the number of measles cases that 2024 had, and we are only a little more than 15% into the year. Given the gutting of the CDC, that's likely an extremely trailing indicator.

Dems, why don’t you get that we will not reelect you if you don’t fight back NOW?
In response to this wholesale destruction, Congressional Dems are licking their chops at the anticipated voter backlash against Trump & Musk in 2026.

They’ll happily stand on the smoking remains of our country, on the bodies of trans people and immigrants, on the wrecked lives of federal employees…
