Not mentioned here is that this proposal would be yet another GOP-led undermining of the supposedly sacred Senate filibuster. A major reason why the 2001 & 2017 tax cuts were time-limited was to clear the Byrd Rule so they could be fit into reconciliation, which can't filibustered.
