Environmentally concerned for our planet and all beautiful creatures on it, still. So angry at humans destructive nature, for power and greed.
Sounds and looks like a great thing to do 🦔😸🐝🦋🪳🪲

Well done Wild Justice
This was such a cynical attempt by Natural England and could have had far reaching implications for many NGOs - thank goodness they have lost. Kudos to Wild Justice, the Badger Trust and their legal teams. Important win for wildlife and conservationists and groups everywhere.
Natural England tried to price us out of taking legal action against Badger culling but it backfired when the High Court threw out NE's claim ⚖️

We continue. Substantive legal challenge against NE Badger cull licences takes place in December 🦡

Agree entirely there are many that we would be much better off without but it’s not those who Reform are targeting a
Farage’s new think tank, the misnamed ‘Centre for a Better Britain’, is very clearly planning a ‘Project 2025’ for the UK - ripping up the Climate Change Act, Equalities Act, even the ministerial code

A recipe for chaotic authoritarianism

We should be kind to wasps, they are much maligned and so VERY helpful to humans if allowed to be. 💚

Avoid watering grass in dry weather. Sprinklers can use as much water in one hour as a family uses in 24 hours. And to keep grass looking good, mow less often - long grass stays green, and is a cool refuge for wildlife.

Also dangerous to animals and humans on really hot days.
❌ Say no to plastic grass ❌
-creates plastic pollution
-loss of habitat
-loss of co2 sink
-inc flood risk
-inc carbon
-bad for soil, bugs, worms
Fake grass is the last thing we need in a biodiversity crisis which is why I’m calling for it to be phased out as we #messupbritain for nature 💚🐝🌻

This is an abysmal, brutally reverse-engineered instance of mega-corp fossil-fuel lawfare waged against Greenpeace.
It’s a strategic takedown of a deep-rooted, rare-growing force for good on Earth.

Gorgeous
Today, March 20th, is Rewilding Day. To celebrate, a couple of wild Irish Atlantic rainforest images.

Rewilding isn't just the means by which nature loss is reversed: it's how we can reconnect with the natural world, and each other.

But Ireland is way behind: let's catch up! 🌍

Please stop using flea treatment on dogs and cats, if you give it to them annually as recommended, what do these poisons do to your beloved pets, not to mention the water supply when doggy goes for a swim or to the pet parlour for a wash🥵
Pet owners accidentally poisoning garden birds.
Our latest research finds pet flea treatments (fipronil and imidacloprid) in 100% of blue tit and great tit nests, with nestling mortality higher in the more contaminated nest. @SongBirdSBS @SussexUni @CannelleTassin

What a surprise!!!
I can’t imagine that the licenses given for every other “legitimate” wildlife killing in England / Wales, is donated to any charity other than the Government. 🦊🦅🦡🥵
This is really concerning - surely not a quango undermining the will of the Scottish parliament to appease an industry with a history of criminality?
Documents released under FoI reveal a very cosy relationship between NatureScot, the statutory nature conservation agency, & the grouse shooting industry it's supposedly regulating.

Wonderful news, thank you Dave for giving us and insects good news. Let’s hope the government listens to science some more. 💚💚💚
Hurray! Some good news for bees at last. Our new government has followed the science, and refused the application by sugar beet farmers to use banned neonicotinoid pesticides.

Very interesting - thank you
Important context here:

● over half of farms are less than 49 acres (20 hectares)

● "a big farm" is 217 acres.

Now let's see who's angry:

● Clarkson farm is 1,000 acres
● Lloyd Webber farms 4,000 acres
● Viscount Rothermere (Mail owner) 4,700 acres
● Dyson owns 36,000 acres
A message from a REAL farmer who hasn’t been brainwashed by the Tories, wealthy landowners and the right wing media👇🏽
