Lovely stat!
“Dutch people cycle an average of 2.6km each per day. If this pattern was replicated worldwide, annual carbon emissions would drop by 686 million tonnes.

This mammoth figure exceeds the entire carbon footprint of most countries, including the UK, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Australia.” @euronews.com
Cycling like the Dutch would slash the world’s carbon footprint
If everybody cycled like the Dutch, we could offset the UK or Australia’s entire carbon footprint.

The Ten Year Plan already had the prioritisation of UK graduates🤷🏻‍♂️

Why was this part of a negotiation with Resident Doctors?

If it was already a plan in June why wasn’t it already done?

Taking it back & then ‘giving’ it again isn’t an offer!

Just so we're clear, one incident of alleged anti-semitism by a musician = a major national scandal that should be roundly condemned.

Multiple incidents of alleged anti-semitism from the man leading the race to run the country = a load of nothing that should be completely ignored

What a lot of the cardboard Christians (whose reason for their faith is largely about hating other faiths) can't really embrace is empathy for people who aren't them (poor, marginalised) and so at Christmas they can't really suddenly participate. These people have cancelled their own Christmas.
The obsession with Christmas being cancelled is one of the maddest tropes of the far right. It's obviously not true and will never be true but they need it to be an imminent possibility. Where would they be without their imagined peril?
The UK far right is increasingly infiltrating the Anglican church so this is bang on trend.
