Many of the CNS roles at my Trust are 1 to 2 year secondments. I’m finally settling in to my role and I will need to leave soon, as these secondments can’t be extended due to HR policies.
It is not good for patient safety, having so many CNSs with <2 years experience.

I’ve just realised that I’ve picked up a habit of sending them the occasional email where I praise myself (on their behalf 😂).
