Yes exactly. “Toxic negativity” has become so much the norm that it’s just been rebranded as “critical eye.” And any subjective positivity that overlooks flaws is deemed toxic. There’s a way better middle ground!

Finished 2018’s Judgment from RGG studios. After having high expectations from LaD8 not get met, I was surprised with how much I enjoyed this one. A good story with mid-feelings combat and a Kamurocho that took a while to feel lived in. I’m excited to try the sequel as I have heard good things there

Played through the Katamari game on Apple Arcade. It was my first one of this series, and I really enjoyed it! I mostly played on controller because that just felt better than getting my fingers in the way of the screen. Going to pick one of these up on console some day for sure!

Finished FF4 and 1! As a long time FF6 fan, I feel that the line of iteration from 1 to 4 to 6 is very clear in feeling and storytelling progression. I have now rolled credits on over half the main, numbered Final Fantasy games! Current ranking: 6>14>16>4>15>1>12>9>13
Gotta get back to 7,8,&10 soon

Rolled credits on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This was basically a perfect game; I could find no part of it I think was bad. It was especially fun to play it with my wife as there is so much to discuss between the lore, ethics, and coolness of the world and story. Excited for more from this team!
