Just got notified my cooperating teacher won the big teaching award from my university on the strength of my nominating essay! I sent it in March & assumed nothing came of it. She deserves it for putting up with me.

I watched a lot of The Twilight Zone as a kid so you'd think some of those "man's hubristic folly" lessons would've sunk in, but eight weeks of soft foods says otherwise.
