I went to my works Christmas do. My colleague and I were the first persons there , & the very camp Irish waiter asked if we wanted another (verboten) drink, i looked him in the eye & said "I can't be double fisting on a work do" he winks at me & left two extra prosecco's on my table

God i love youngsters (under 30) Seriously, the generation of women behind us, are reaping the rewards of us being shouty & standing up for ourselves.
As a child free 50yr old, this is GLORIOUS to see.

Contact us if you have been affected by the policy changes of Girl Guiding or the Women's Institute. This could be as an individual, or because you lead a local Brownie group who don't want this policy change. We want to help protect trans inclusion.

I was a brownie in the 80s, then I was a Girl Guide into the 90s. It was a massive part of my life at the time and helped me feel more confident. I cannot believe what @girlguiding have done, how cowardly, how shameful of them. I'm gobsmacked

The restriction on car makes in Motability is a perfect and horrible example of Government By Vibes. it saves no money, it helps absolutely nobody, all it does is makes a few cruel and angry people feel better while disadvantaging people with mobility needs.

So #virginmedia don't like customers or indeed customer service. 4 calls at 10mins each just to navigate the menu to get into a queue to speak to a person. Now 28mins on hold to a "Tech Team", not because of a tech issue, but because the "Billing" options don't let you speak to an actual person

Oh CTM, your "online booking tool" is so terrible that we have to call you up to book things manually, then you can be bloody sure that I am wasting both yours & my own time by making us all wait on the phone for the approval email to arrive.

I'm so sick of discourse from supposed allies about where trans people went wrong.

Where we "went wrong" is that billionaires spent unimaginably large sums to attack us repeatedly and major media outlets have spent a decade piling on.

Dad is home on Monday night, finally. We thought he would end up staying in hospital another night as the Patient Transport seem to forget he existed (ooooooof) and finally got him in the door 12hrs after telling him to get ready to leave. But he's home, and the carers are visiting.
