One unexpected thing that I like about Japan's winters is how dark it is. I often have a bit of trouble getting to sleep, but these long, cold nights get me right and ready for bed at 11. Then I look at the time and it's not even 9 yet.
Still struggle to get out of my warm, cozy bed though.
