ICE has killed 9 folks in the first 26 days of ‘26:

• Alex Pretti
• Renee Good
• Keith Porter
• Heber Sanchaz Domínguez
• Victor Manuel Diaz
• Parady La
• Luis Beltran Yanez-Cruz
• Luis Gustavo Nunez Caceres
• Geraldo Lunas Campos

They all deserve justice. And for us to remember their names.

So basically free advertising for their legal defense and/or medical bill fundraising? I don't see how this is supposed to be a deterrent.
TOM HOMAN: “We’re going to create a database where those people that are arrested for interference, impeding and assault, we’re going to make them famous. We’re going to put their face on TV. We’re going to let their employers, in their neighborhoods, in their schools, know who these people are.”

Every time ICE murders someone I wonder, "Is this the one? Is this the last straw? Are people angry enough to do violence? Have they given up hope that their politicians will stand with them? Are they going to start shooting back?" I hope not, but if they do it is because they see no other option.

On top of some obvious things, it's clear the dems in congress don't game anything out. What are you going to do when the murder the next person? And then the next one? and then a member of congress? It's just "vote for this and pray it goes away"

The realization that the “death to America” rhetoric we were raised to believe so extremist and terrifying is actually justified — and arguably just — is fundamentally destabilizing for a lot of people.

what this should make clear to everyone in this country is that it does not matter who you are, there's no "it could never happen to me"

you can be a white woman who drives around with stuffed animals in her car, and they will still kill you in cold blood and call you a domestic terrorist

If the people in power don't act to stop ICE then eventually the civilians might start shooting back. People are angry. Rightfully, so. However, angry people don't always think things through. If pushed enough they will meet force with equal force, as bad as that idea is.

This whole putting in effort to make an idea become real thing is bullshit.

"But what about congress?" "But this is illegal." "But don't we live in a democracy?" But, but, but. Stop. They don't care. They never cared. They never will care. Trump isn't new or worse, he just doesn't try to hide the cruelty and capriciousness that's always been the core of American politics.

Calling out a fascist for taking a hypocritical position is easy. It's also a complete waste of time. Fascist rhetoric is aesthetics— pathos, never logos.

You'll never get anywhere pointing out a fascist's hypocrisy. Fascism is not to be debated, it's to be smashed. Get comfortable using power.

When do we start assuming the people that ICE are disappearing aren't being deported anymore? Because I feel like it should be obvious to anyone what the end goal of this constant escalation is.

I'm gonna be honest, when you say, "trump is your fault because you didn't support the democrats killing Palestinians," what i hear is, "they were supposed to be the only people being tortured and killed." I hear, "I'm not against fascism, I'm just against being on the receiving end of the gun."

I love living in a country that has passed satire, flown beyond self-parody, plugged it's ears when it heard the definition of irony, and is taking itself completely seriously while sinking further into fascism with clown shoes on.

Being able to buy a home in your 20s with a job you got out of college that you paid for without taking on any debt exclusively through a part-time wage actually is "having it easier"
Instead of “this is important, but I can’t afford it” (health insurance, housing close to work, etc.) or “everyone should be able to afford this, especially in such a rich country, and some can’t, which is bad,” many insist “people in the past had it easier.” The (false) comparison matters to them.

I am so tired of these antivaxers and their fucking bullshit. I know it's just eugenics underneath the justifications, but the justifications alone are enough for me to hate them. None of these people have ever loved a child who died because of a disease. If they had they would know the truth.

The irony of libs constantly demanding 'accountability' from voters while reflexively absolving the democratic party of any fault regarding their inability to win elections or effectively govern is, frankly, absurdly hilarious.

There are no distractions. It's all bad. Systematically stripping trans people of their rights, guys in balaclavas shoving any brown person with a tattoo into a ummarked vans, ending healthcare for millions. It's all in service of fascism and technofeudalism. It's all one thing. That's the point.
