They can't hide the truth. This is what US taxpayer dollars are paying for. You OK with that? Didn't think so. Share and make some noise!

For today's #Caturday pose, Abner demonstrates the hip flexor stretch in dad's recliner. Don't be fooled, this is not an invitation for belly rubs.

Remember in Iraq, after Saddam was ousted, so many Iraqis couldn't wait to tear down every statue and monument? It'll be like that. It'll be joyous, raucous, and oh so satisfying.
Donald Trump knows he will never earn or deserve the respect of the American people enough that monuments, buildings, institutions, or memorials will be named after him, so he’s taking other’s laurels and just adding his name himself.

Doesn’t matter. When he’s gone, we will erase him from it all.

Yesterday was crazy; more wind and rain, but thankfully not any more flooding and the power & cable was restored. So spouse and I tuned into the Seahawks game a little late, well after half time.

Guess that worked out for us. Holy Hawks, all I really needed was the last 20 minutes. What a game!

We know that targeted boycotts work. This would send a strong message if enough people would participate. The beauty is in it's simplicity sustained over a relatively short period of time. It isn't painful, the only requirement is an update to one's W-4 form. Peaceful resistance.

WHAT IF everyone went into work in January & changed the number of exemption withholding to 12, for 12 weeks? It would get some attention, good traction. Ninety days of NO FICA taxpayer federal deposits might make politicians more responsive to THE PEOPLE.

Funny, in a not funny-ha-ha sort of way, they're eager to protect children from books & art & diversity, but not from guns and bullets and hunger and preventable diseases... which are far more destructive and insidious to children's health and mortality.

EVERYBODY CONTACT YOUR SENATORS. Don't let this cruelty be signed into law!
BREAKING: The House of Representatives just passed a bill that would subject immigrant children to invasive bodily searches and keep them in detention instead of releasing them to their families.

The Senate must vote no on this horrific bill.

Why is anyone still giving Meta platforms ANY attention? Boycotts worked (Target, Tesla, Disney...) If you can't reach out to friends & family without FB, then maybe rethink how you're operating in the world & how you define friends?
Same for Amazon, plenty of other options.

Hell in a handbasket!
Meta has removed or restricted dozens of accounts belonging to abortion access providers, queer groups and reproductive health organisations in the past weeks in what Repro Uncensored call one of the “biggest waves of censorship” on its platforms in years.
Meta shuts down global accounts linked to abortion advice and queer content
More than 50 organisations report sites being restricted or removed, with abortion hotlines blocked and posts showing non-explicit nudity triggering warnings

I understand the need for revenue on most websites, but I have a rule. If ads become 1/2 to 3/4 of my screen, or pop ups that must be constantly closed in order to view content, it's an automatic NO. I just won't visit that place again. If ad is for an evil entity, same. Another reason I left FB.
