Seriously though. As I said (to you, in fact) in the wake of Trump being elected, Canada was on the precipice of electing our own authoritarian nationalist. The seismic shift I doubted turned out to be the backlash to Trump targeting Canada early in 2025.

This is a misconception, the ban on "pickles" only applies to recipes that use vinegar, which in Canada is a sacred substance confined to ritual use in elementary school "Volcano" science projects.

Naturally fermented pickled cucumbers in salt brine are still technically legal, just suspicious.
