So happy to have this, I was just wondering when Clare would do something new for us. Perfect timing too, a holiday read just after I had exhausted my supply on my kindle. ❤️❤️❤️
🌈❄️🙂 Early reviews for sapphic holiday novella, Asking Kate ♥️♥️♥️

I loved catching up with the Oxford bunch again and writing this story, so it's lovely to hear people enjoying catching up with them too 🥰🥰🥰

This is a good article about the real impact that this week's budget will have. It's from a bookshop perspective, but the truth is, it will have a negative impact on every small retailer.

Just read this www.goodreads.com/book/show/18... and it blew me away, just the most beautiful story. It tore my little gay heart to shreds but it is something that will stay with me always. Highly recommend and I'm off to find more of this authors books.

Be aware
A new scam is threatening the sapphic book community: Scammers are creating rip-offs of existing books with the help of AI.

I have written a blog post explaining how to recognize red flags, a list of suspicious pseudonyms, and what we can do to help.

Happy book birthday @clareashton.bsky.social! Discovering Nicola is out today!

I'm in love with this book (ARC). I'm only at 42% because life, work and kids, but it's so good. Nicola's pants are on fire, Geeta's finding herself post divorce, they are *gasp* becoming friends. 🌈📚

Having just read the final words of Hossam Shabat today, main stream media journalism is a poisonous profession at the moment. Well done Penny for fighting the fight in your time, sadly with over 200 journalists murdered in Gaza and next to no coverage there are few journalists I have any time for.
In 1972, the Washington Post Metro Seven inspired journalists worldwide who would follow to fight for equal treatment in hiring, promotion & compensation.

Bywater Books author, Penny Mickelbury (circled in red) was one of these groundbreaking journalists.

Trump’s trying to gut funding for libraries: you can fight back with ALA.

The President's executive order to dismantle the Institute of Museum & Library Services would be deeply harmful. We need to speak out.

Take action NOW: tell Congress to protect library funding.
