It's interesting seeing the different ways resistance has formed in different cities. Los Angeles Organized, Chicago Radicalized, and Portland Got Weird as Fuck. All 3 have had success unifying their respective cities.

I guess my point is there are multiple paths to ungovernability.

Just thinking about when Ann Richards died and she was lain in state at the Capitol. I lived downtown at the time so I walked over to pay my respects.

I bought a rose from a street vendor on Sixth Street along the way. I put it at her coffin. I think she would have liked that.

I'm not arguing trans rights anymore. There's no fucking argument. It's either liberty, freedom, and bodily autonomy for EVERYONE, or it's fucking SLAVERY for EVERYONE.

If a leader can't make that case, the whole fucking thing deserves to burn.

I hate to say it but the majority of the country is not going to die on the hill of trans rights. We can’t protect ANY groups if we can’t win a national election, so purity tests only serve to make specific groups feel triumphant. That’s not “erasing” them; it’s long-horizon strategy.

No, these clowns are not gonna want to hang out with Dale Gribble. They saw that the underclass of Austin made a spectacular music and cultural scene when they came to SXSW. Thought it was LA but cheaper and up & coming. Now they're experiencing culture clash.

As I understand, yes, they made empty promises to workers by labeling themselves socialists to get support. But they did put their entire economy collectively toward one end. And it wasn't to make rich people richer (in the short term).

I got to thinking. None of the immigrants being picked up have a Klempt. Nor do they know a Schulenburg, or Freud, or for that matter, Gustav Klempt. But portraits of their family are being destroyed. Along with the families themselves. There won't be justice. Ever.
