Don't know how many different ways I can say these are actual Nazis, minus the bureaucratic skill and esthetics
Trump goes on another racist rant about Somalis: "Ilhan Omar should be thrown the hell out of our country, and most of those people -- they have destroyed Minnesota. It's a hellhole right now. Those Somalians should be out of here. They have destroyed out country ... go back to your own country."

TRUMP: Then he's a fool. I wouldn't be proud to have the largest Somalian-- look at their nation. It's just people walking around killing each other.

If Pokémon was real and you were just an average trainer, what would your team be?

(Be as realistic as possible. No Mythics or Legends.

It would honestly be this. If Goodra isn’t realistic it would be an Empoleon.

A "Young Republicans" group gets 60 members (in a state of 3.5 million) and suddenly a movement is building. Didn't they just get obliterated like a month ago?

It's almost like the press is desperate for the GOP to be liked and in power

(Note: The chief compliant here is housing cost are too high)

Behn won the EV by about 5
Van Epps won eday by about 21

Behn was needing something close to best-case eday dynamics but eday was closer to worst-case for her

Still led to a 13% overperformance bc the EV was so strong for her

Love the cope in the NYPost. If being 'too left' nonetheless shifts an R+22 district to R+9 despite massive efforts by the GOP, then every Dem everywhere should shift as far left as humanly possible.

Special elections are funny things, but all 5 of them in 2025 shifted +D by over 10 points.

Avg swing in specials to Congress is 17 pts left since 2024. But bc they've been so low-turnout, the data b4 last night suggested a 100% turnout (relative to the past midterm) special would have swung closer to 6-7 points. So TN-7 (13 pts) is updating priors about the share of swing that's turnout

This race got super nationalized - relative turnout ended up being huge

But to me, that makes this the most encouraging special for Ds so far
