Australia's welfare system is punitive at every single step. There's never an offer to help, only a threat of punishment. Every day, a punishment. If you don't find work quickly enough you're punished with indentured servitude. They want you to either exit the service or end your life.
This has massive ramifications, and hopefully inspires many other victims of unlawful mutual obligations decisions to demand justice from the government.

Australia's welfare system is punitive at every single step. There's never an offer to help, only a threat of punishment. Every day, a punishment. If you don't find work quickly enough you're punished with indentured servitude. They want you to either exit the service or end your life.

with new vaccines being trialed, “someday” is getting sooner and sooner. but until that point, every infection causes cumulative damage.

the protection offered by the current covid boosters wanes pretty quickly, too.

Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.
