Looking for any tiny nuggets of peace in this US hellscape. Building my village for all the gays, starting with my amazing offspring.
Love to read, travel and to be ruled by a righteous shorkie and a one eyed cat named Boo.

Disgusting! While CA republicans sue to stop a vote on equal measures in CA. The cheating entitlement is mind blowing.
TODAY: The full Texas House will vote on Republicans’ gerrymandered map that could add five GOP seats in Congress, after a House committee voted to advance the measure earlier this week. The House is scheduled to convene at 11 AM ET.

1/2. The phrase "land swap" is being used to mean "Ukraine concedes land illegally occupied by Russia and also concedes territory that is not even occupied." That is not a swap.

Today they have crossed a deep red line.

We, the people, must hold the president and his appointees accountable for this outrageous abuse against American liberty.

Scientists have found homosexuality nearly everywhere they've looked for it in the animal kingdom -- mammals, reptiles, fish, birds, insects -- everywhere. By definition, it's natural. What's UNNATURAL is the irrational (and mostly religious-based) hate and homophobia found only in humans.

Happy PRIDE! I can’t possibly describe how much I love our two gays. Nothing makes a mama bear more proud than our humans standing up for who they are, for their right to exist and for others. Wishing everyone a month of love and power to block those that choose not to love.

An anniversary worth marking.

I'm sure we're going to see the very people who have trashed its legacy seek to appropriate WW2 today - so let's remember what was really fought for: peace, a more united Europe, a land fit for heroes (mark 2) and the defeat of fascism.

Good morning from Vermont. Couldn’t be more thankful to have booked a reading retreat back in August not knowing how much I needed to just breath right now.
