“When it comes to Israeli intransigence regarding Palestinians, the prime minister alone is not the problem,” argues @dahliasc.bsky.social. “The problem is Israeli society, politics, and culture as it has evolved over decades.”

I sound insane when I say this but I truly believe a big part of the Trump admin’s approach to energy policy is driven by gender anxiety. They think coal and oil are manly and renewables are effeminate.

"Perhaps no method of extermination is more prevalent across genocides than starvation."

To understand genocide in Gaza & elsewhere, we need to talk about it as a process not an event. Perhaps the most important op-ed I've written for

Opinion: Genocide is a process, not an event
We need to understand the nature of genocide – how the ground is laid by dehumanization and slow violence - if we hope to prevent it and hold perpetrators to account

IR Book of the Week!

"Why Democracies Fight Dictators" by @madisonschramm.bsky.social. International politics is not a domain of cold calculation. It invokes emotions. Anger is especially prominent, and helps explain why democracies choose to fight dictatorships.

Netanyahu’s atrocities are not limited to Gaza. He has also unleashed terrorist settlers in the West Bank who attack civilians and recently beat a young American to death.

Even Trump’s ambassador, Mike Huckabee, called this a “terrorist act.”

NO MORE MILITARY AID TO ISRAEL.

CBS canceled Colbert’s show just THREE DAYS after Colbert called out CBS parent company Paramount for its $16M settlement with Trump – a deal that looks like bribery.

America deserves to know if his show was canceled for political reasons.

Watch and share his message.

Yet again, we're seeing horrific reports of the killing of seven children in Gaza this time as they were waiting for water at a distribution site.

UNICEF calls for an immediate and lasting ceasefire, aid at scale and release of hostages.
