Calls are growing to release Palestinian protester Leqaa Kordia, who was arrested at a Columbia University protest in 2024.
Although that charge was dismissed, she was later detained at an immigration check-in and sent to an ICE jail in Texas, where she has been held since March.

The house I’m sitting has an excellent thermostat or heating system or whatever. The heat is set 69°F & it stays at that. No drop to cold & heater roaring on. Just constantly at 69°F, a comfy cozy temperature to sleep under blankets with a snoring wiener dog snuggled up beside you.

Well I’ve made my little nest where we’ll be sleeping for our bi-annual pet-sitting. Frank has to sleep on an air mattress on the floor from now on because he tries to jump off other beds! 😱
But I actually really like sleeping on a low mattress, there’s something oddly comforting about it.
