Of course they did. This particular Grand Jury had never heard a Case before. They were all new. And remember, there is no "Judge" in a Grand Jury Hearing, it is only the Prosecutor and the Grand Jury.

Practically by definition, grand juries are not shown evidence to the contrary. The defense makes no case.

The real story is this idiotic DOJ nevertheless sometimes fails to get an indictment. It's like losing a game to air when you're the only team on the field.

Comey's lawyers are challenging that the evidence presented to the grand jury did not meet the rules of evidence & may have not been admissible. The purpose is to try to embarrass his enemies, not any actual crime. Halligan also has no future as USA she is done in a couple of months.
