Just another day of Reform making things up as they go along.

Pochinoccio strikes again.

Reform UK’s @SarahForRuncorn has removed a video about Runcorn Boxing Club after lying about her helping getting funding for them.

Statement by the club has shown her to once again have made up things about representing her local area.

The ECHR was Britain’s response to WW2 fascist regimes. With authoritarianism on the rise again, we’d be mad to give up the protections it provides. Tell your MP we won’t let that happen! actionstorm.org/petitions/pr... @OpenBritainHQ

Renewable Energy is 8x cheaper than Fossil Fuel, increased Energy costs increase the price of everything.

When your prices are too high you cannot export anything.

It is the lack of Net Zero that is destroying the UK economy.

5 years after Brexit, it’s shamefully clear that UK is being left behind on environment policy. With few exceptions, Govt has *deliberately* chosen not to keep up with standards of EU neighbours. Worse, in a number of areas they’re planning to actively go backwards @ieep.eu

The will of the people is to #RejoinEU

29% per cent of people would vote to leave the EU, compared with 52% in June 2016.

The tables have turned: 52% now would vote to remain.

And expect that number to shrink further.

No matter how much the government, major parties, or tabloid press push “Brexit benefits…”

People know Brexit doesn’t.

Brexit leaves the UK in a structurally weaker position, bleeding money, time, efficiency and opportunity daily.
Sunday Times cover saying new poll shows only 29% would vote for Brexit now.

At our demonstration today, I'm holding a placard stating

Action
must be taken."
My aim is to highlight the absurdity of the government dictating what can and cannot be said by peace-seeking people

Ian Hislop, "It is pretty ludicrous we have got to a state where a man is arrested for carrying a joke? I mean, freedom of expression, freedom of speech, all those things we claim to be interested in?"

Shame on Labour this isn't the change any of us wanted after 14 years of Conservative chaos

The building opposite Labour HQ has been covered with a large scene of devastation from Gaza, in protest at both the war and the approach to protest in the UK.

I have first hand experience how absolutely useless our local Reform MP is by having the misfortune of living in the Runcorn and Helsby constituency!

Majorities in France, Germany, Italy & Spain support UK rejoining the EU. A clear majority in Britain also backs rejoining. The biggest questions lie around the DEPTH of our EU integration. So as there's a generational divide on that, why not rejoin the Single Market and wait for opinions to change?

The entire UK political/media narrative on welfare is that it is "burgeoning", "a burden" & "unsustainable". But how high is it compared to others? UK welfare at 10.8% of GDP in 2023 (including pensions). Finland spends 25.7% of GDP; France 23.8%: both double the UK.
