I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Here is a temperature map (in celsius) of the USA today, during what is being called the "Big Freeze". Ukraine was colder than this basically every day from Jan 5-23. And thanks to the USA helping Putin, the country was starved of heat and power.

Reminder: All it would take to end the murder of American citizens by an untrained government goon squad is 16 Republicans in Congress voting with Dems to defund ICE (or 23 to impeach and remove Trump — 3 in House & 20 in Senate). That’s it. 23 Americans can vote for the public and end all of this.

This is appalling. I can say with certainty that Steve Jobs would be ashamed of Tim Cook at this terrible moment, one of many these days, and he has sullied the last year of his tenure and the Apple brand by his craven need to please shareholders over holding onto some basic values of decency.

I hope that Democrats realize what’s happening in Minnesota is also a dry run for what the regime has planned for the midterms.

If the sole purpose of ICE were to instigate a civil war, they would behave exactly like this.

I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening.

The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.

At Davos, Donald Trump announced his new 'World Peace' organization, known as "Special Peace Entity Convened for Trump Revenue Extraction" (SPECTRE) with seats set at $1 b each. After Mark Carney disappeared thru a trap door, Witkoff and Kushner presented their new Luxe Gaza Peace Golf Condos.

Hopefully Europe remembers this lesson. Bullies only respond to being punched in the face.
The last few days have provided Europeans with an important lesson on how to handle Trump. Don't beg, don't bluster, but do use the leverage you have to impose costs of him for his reckless behavior. European Greenland actions should inform their Ukraine policy. open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

Listen up: Trump 2.0 would not exist without a corrupt, hollowed-out Democratic Party which serves insiders and special interests first, working people second. I see zero evidence this institution is capable of serious reform. I view the DNC as a critical Trump asset.

Can we speak the truth on this? Trump has been "unable to end the war" because he has failed to bully and threaten Ukraine into accepting a deal that would make Putin happy.
⚡️Trump blames Ukraine war negotiations deadlock on Moscow, Kyiv failing to align on talks.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Jan. 20 that he has been unable to end Russia’s war against Ukraine, claiming that neither side is consistently willing to agree to a deal at the same time.

The root cause of our national emergency: 77 million voted for Trump 2.0, and 92% of them still approve of his job performance (WSJ, 1/26). Because of them, elected Rs won’t stand up to Trump.

Putin's intensified campaign against civilian infrastructure in Ukraine was directly aided by the actions of the US government.

Not only did Trump's false pretense of striving for peace buy Putin time, but Trump has also deliberately weakened Ukraine in air defense during this time.
Just sent out my free weekend update. The joint Trump-Putin (or US-Russian) campaign to torment Ukrainians by depriving them of power and heat, reached a crescendo. It cannot be denied that Trump/USA has made the situation worse. open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

"A US invasion of Greenland would make Putin the happiest man in the world. Why? Because it would legitimize his invasion of Ukraine. If the US were to use force in Greenland, it would be a fatal blow to NATO. Putin would have double reason to rejoice."

What we are seeing from Trump in the last few days is no surprise or revelation. It’s was he has always been and will be. The surprise was that too many people wilfully refused to admit it.

Yesterday, these incompetent fucks were just going door-to-door in a neighborhood near my house at 8:30 in the morning. School buses were driving through trying to pick up kids, people were out walking their dogs, and people were taking out their trash cans.

I don’t understand why the administration is so deliberately inflaming the tragic Minnesota ICE shooting. In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, all Noem and Trump have to tell the American people is, the shooting will be investigated. But no - they have to amplify tensions. Why?

Trump has successfully tricked the news media from putting front and center his betrayal of America’s Democratic allies around the world in favor of Putin, Xi, and the autocrats. Every reprehensible domestic controversy Trump creates, likely deliberately, is eye candy.

Putin has indicated Finland and Poland are next on his hit list.

It is to America's shame that Trump and his team are enabling this murderer.
