I am 62 years old. I have good memories of attending Head Start! It is a very worthwhile program that needs to continue.
This month, as we celebrated 60 years of Head Start, I & @repdean.bsky.social held a news conference with parents & advocates to highlight what this vital program means to the over 26,000 children and families it serves across PA.
Congress should be working to expand Head Start, not defunding it!
