Okay, so. Time to leverage some clout. If you are outside MN and don't know how to help, here's one way. Pick a fund from standwithminnesota.com and I'll match them up to $1000. Post a receipt if you want but I'll probably believe you
Stand With Minnesota Donation Directory
Stand With Minnesota is a hub for supporting, learning, and taking action to support Minnesotans impacted by ICE and federal enforcement.

Are we in a black mirror episode? What is happening?

Ice just executed another neighbor in MPLS. 😭

What will it take for congress to stop these rogue murderers?

We need folks in EVERY STATE to demand their electeds take action. This has to stop.

At this point every time police or sheriff arrest a protester it is a damnation of their organizations. Our constitution is on the line, we are nonviolent (but not passive). Get the fuck out of our way.

You don’t know your role yet maybe, but we are all finding out just what we have to offer.

In Minneapolis, one man knew immediately what he could offer and said “Bring me your clothing”.

HELP REQUEST! PLEASE BOOST
Lt Garman monitors ICE for MPD.
On Friday he said he had no knowledge of ICE violating the law or constitution. If you live in MPLS and have directly observed excessive force, observer harassments, and other illegal activities please call him and tell him. 612-673-5590.

I think the Mayor of Minneapolis or Gov. Walz need to find a bunch of Constitution loyal police officers who are brave enough to arrest ICE agents who are breaking state and local laws. Arresting ICE agents for breaking laws makes clearly how lawless they are.

Folks, if you know any Minnesotan, you'll know that many of us will bring up Minnesota and Minnesota things at every possible opportunity. If we manage to ride out military occupation, we're going to be absolutely insufferable for the next 20 years. Think about what you're risking here.

Then you check the comments and it’s hundreds of other women saying the same. Now there’s some women in the comments saying how much their husbands have

If we lose, my children won’t be safe. Your children won’t be safe. If I optimize for personal safety today the fascists will win, that’s the whole game.

One of the stories that makes me the saddest out of this ICE invasion is one out of the Minnesota Star Tribune today about ICE agents eating at a little Mexican restaurant in the small town of Willmar, Minn, —and then, when they were done, arresting some of the workers.

The Daily had an interview with the MPD chief. They’re getting regular 911 calls because federal agents are leaving cars in the street after detaining people. Local officers are overwhelmed, feel ICE/BP are putting them at risk with dangerous tactics, unraveling progress made since George Floyd.
It's 10am in Minneapolis and rapid response is underwater, reports of chemicals deployed already.

As others have pointed out, the ratio of feds (with more arriving) to residents and square mileage here is extreme compared to what we experienced in Chicago.

We are in freefall.
