Sunday, at least 7 ICE agents stormed a house and took an elderly man out into the freezing cold, wearing only his underwear and a blanket.

He was a member of the Hmong community, which came to the area from Laos in the 1970s after siding with the US in the Vietnam War.

If you haven’t noticed by now, the federal government is attacking the state of Minnesota the same way they attack other countries they consider “foreign adversaries”. Why is that? Because they see blue states as their enemy. If they can do it to one state, they will do it to all of them. #Minnesota

According to my sources, the FBI was initially open to a concurrent investigation with the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (the state agency that would do this investigation).

Trumpy U.S. Attorney Daniel Rosen heard about this and intervened, barring the FBI from cooperating with local police.

UPDATE: I've heard from Jose's family. He's apparently been transferred to an ICE detention center in TX, but it's been days since they've been able to speak with him.

He needs medical care and to be able to speak with his family and lawyer. This obscene cruelty helps no one.
You can hear Jose scream in excruciating pain as an ICE vehicle runs over his foot while he's being detained.

His family says Jose is a good man, with no criminal record, who works in roofing.

He needs to be released from detention to receive appropriate medical care.
