Bernie Sanders: "We need to be thinking seriously about a moratorium on data centers. You gotta slow this process down. It's not good enough for the oligarchs to tell us 'you adapt.' Are they gonna guarantee healthcare to all people? What are they gonna do when there are no jobs? Make housing free?"

Yeah, there will not be a sustained “impeach Trump” move. Pointless. Won’t succeed.

There will be an “investigate the Trump corruption family” move, alongside the inquiries into DoD/DHS. But the former is about laying evidentiary groundwork for potential DOJ action in 2029.
I'm on sabbatical til mid-February, so not talking to Dems as much. But my recent sense is that they are punch-drunk from the first-term and Biden-era probes of Trump either being ineffective or backfiring. "Impeachment" isn't even a threat anymore.

Probes of Hegseth et al? Sure, but Trump is safe
Once you decide there's nothing bad enough the president can do to warrant impeachment you're kind of done. You're relegated to holding a bunch of hearings which is a PR battle for the subsequent election, but in the meantime you're stuck with a criminal president

The redactions make Prince Andrew’s specific involvement unclear, but according to this report, he was present. That alone is damning, but add to the fact his titles were stripped by the royal family for a reason.

Reading this, it’s easy to believe far more than 1,000 girls were victimized by Epstein as it clearly points to an international pedophile ring.

No punishment is too great for a man who would drug and drive his own 6–8-year-old daughter to “pedophile ring parties.”

Sit with this: if this report is accurate, this child was horrifically abused. I wonder whether she’s been able to build any kind of life for herself.

Isn’t it strange? For MAGA, Bill Clinton and any Democrat are considered guilty without any evidence needed. But no matter how much evidence exists, they’ll never consider Trump guilty. Those they dislike are automatically guilty, and those they approve of are automatically innocent. Def a cult.

All the corruption involved in Trump's pardons probably don't just invalidate the pardons, they constitute new crimes they can all be imprisoned for. Also there's a case to be made for them being treason, punishable by death.
All of the money that changed hands in the Teapot Dome scandal totaled less than $10 million after adjusting for inflation, and it was considered so corrupt we still teach it in high school government classes a century later.
Corruption so pungent, it wafts right off the page:

Lobbyists who do pardon deals “say their going rate is $1 million. Pardon-seekers have offered some lobbyists close to the president success fees of as much as $6 million if they can close the deal.”

Article II, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution states that the President, Vice President, & all civil officers can be removed from office through impeachment for committing treason, bribery, or other high crimes & misdemeanors. Shall We the People proceed? It's well past time to stop the insanity.

There are lots of impeachable offenses but only treason allows us to take out his entire cabinet and administration

The rest of the reasons can be prosecuted separately where he would have already lost is federal protections
