A lot of New Yorkers are having a hard time acclimating to climate change.

I get that it is October, & many folks want to wear cute layers & hoodies & bubble coats, but it’s been 80 degrees.

I am used to the fellowship writing genre. Ford and Mellon have funded me in the past for my books.

But grant writing has proven to be a whole separate beast. Have to construct a budget, convince of project feasibility, Oof.

I’m so struck by this video. A regular day in Logan Square in front of a grocery store and ICE pulls up and tear gassed people. Funston Elementary School is right across the street as well. This is a major corridor in Logan Sq. No concern for human safety
