Also, register with a party if necessary to vote in primaries, and VOTE in primaries. Complaining about the parties' candidates is pretty rich if you aren't helping the parties choose the future candidates.

If the president were a saboteur whose mission was to trigger a civil war or the breakup of the union, I'm not sure what he would do differently.
More from the party of federalism: "the states are merely an agent for the federal government in counting and tabulating the votes. They must do what the federal government, as represented by the president of the United States, tells them, for the good of the country, to do."
