in I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME, i dig thru diaries looking for clues of an old friendship gone wrong, trying to figure out what happened exactly. in this process, other mysteries appear, as well as uncomfortable realizations.

excerpts from a diary are typed out and pinned to a board. in cursive handwriting, i make notes, an internal dialogue responding to certain bits.

typed out on a lined piece of paper, i recall an incident from my youth.

i ask an old friend why they put up with me when i was a boy-crazy youth. she responds that we were ALL boy-crazy back then.

Arkansas police pulled over an Indian GrubHub driver wh ois married to a U.S. citizen. They found a bottle of Opium-brand perfume, arrested him for narcotics possession, and turned him over to ICE, where he was held for 30 days.

He has now been stripped of his immigration status.

I, TBH, am lowkey upset. I completely understand the need to stop the databases, but the fact that it came to this because people are in their feelings about marginalized groups in spaces is DIABOLICAL work
