People insist on thinking “America is a Christian nation” means that popular culture mirrors the Christian holiday calendar and that praying to Jesus is broadly viewed as a sign of virtuousness.

There are times to say, “Yes, you have the right to…. But, I am not going to help you defend that right.” Sometimes the greater good is just saying “no.” The extent to which defending certain rights harms others should be considered, especially when bad faith actors are involved.

When the wheel turns, we should talk plainly about the failures of white male business leadership, the inefficiency of turf battles, dominance displays and business decisions based on who’s buddies with who. Stop pretending they’re good at anything but resource hoarding and covering their asses.
What conservatives fail to grasp is that DEI policies *were* the compromise position. The progressive position is to talk openly about the inability of so many white male candidates to demonstrate they can work outside their comfort zone. An honest look at merit and cultural fit doesn’t favor them.
