Just a reminder as Bondi spreads administration bullshit about threats to immigration agents:

Last year was the second safest year for ICE and BP agents in history, despite a massive ramp up in agression, violence, and abuse by agents themselves.

Being a Border Patrol or ICE agent earns many insults, but words aren’t violence. Neither are they dangerous jobs.

Habeas corpus actions are the ancient common law writ used to create a legal action to sue for freedom. They were crucial in the early-nineteenth-century efforts to challenge slavery.
This graph showing “habeas cases” suddenly leaping in 2025 —
is terrifying.

Kafkaesque barely begins to describe the situation of the people DHS illegally deported without due process.

Because of what it did, the government is basically saying their habeas petitions are functionally impossible to pursue.

Here's my full 50-page indictment of CBP and ICE and decades of corruption, abuse of force, racism, and misogyny. I promise you — however bad you've ever thought it was, the full reality is even worse, deadlier, and more corrupt. This isn't a "Trump only" phenomenon:
Thanks to @govpritzker.illinois.gov for setting up the Illinois Accountability Commission to document the abuses of Trump and Stephen Miller's invasions of cities. And thanks to @vermontgmg.bsky.social for this detailed testimony about CBP's history and culture: drive.google.com/file/d/1o4z6...

Scrolling through the photos of Pam Bondi's "Minnesota rioters," it's just hero after hero. Every photo includes a cowardly DHS agent with their back to the camera.

Bondi thinks she's going to win the propaganda war with this shit, but it's never been more clear that they're losing.
