I'm a little surprised it took this long to get to 50 year mortgages. They have been doing 8 year car loans for a while now so magas can buy $85K trucks they don't need and can't afford so they can fit it with the Joneses.
Who benefits from 50 year mortgages: banks, developers, realtors, estate lawyers.
